What does an Electronics Engineer do?
Electronics Engineers from ITBA are trained in basic sciences and in the disciplines of Electricity and Electronics with the objective of studying, constructing, and maintaining electronic and signal processing equipment, systems, and devices. They can, for instance, make mobile phones smarter, make medical equipment more precise, or store and control energy resources more efficiently.

Miguel Aguirre, Eng. Dr.
Electronic Engineer graduated from ITBA and Doctor in Engineering from UNLP. He worked as a project engineer, specialized in start-up, maintenance and emergency assistance in industrial facilities. Since 2013, he has been leading the Department of Electric and Electronic Engineering at ITBA. He has published over 30 papers in first-class journals and congresses on topics like industrial and power electronics.

What level of English do I need for undergraduate courses?

Can I participate in an internship or a professional practice while studying an undergraduate course?
Yes, we offer an internship program that allows undergraduates to take their first steps in the business world during their last two years of study. We also have agreements and business alliances with leading companies that provide ongoing employment opportunities for students and graduates.
