Health Insurance

All exchange students must have Argentine health insurance. This must include medical assistance in our country, medical evacuation, and repatriation.

ITBA only recognizes domestic plans that should cover medical appointments, access to diagnosis and treatment, and emergency services without prior authorization or reimbursements.

Students must send the health coverage plan to the International Relations Department before their arrival in Argentina for its approval.

Students with preexisting illnesses -that may or may not be covered by the local supplier- must contact our Department before their arrival at ITBA to discuss their medical needs and health insurance.

IMPORTANT: International health insurance will not be accepted, with no exceptions.
